Fred Hampton interviewed by ABC News shortly before his death

Fredrick Allen Hampton was an American social activist and Black revolutionary. He came to prominence in Chicago as chairman of the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party, and deputy chairman of the national BPP. Born August 30, 1948, he was assassinated on December 4, 1969 by Chicago police during an early morning raid of his Chicago home. This ABC interview was recorded only two months before his death.
