Join us December 1st @8:00 PM @ Geoffreys Inner Circle. for the Oakland's Finest Black Tie Holiday ball and Toy Drive. Help make this holidays season special for families in need in the Bay Area.. The LoveLife Foundation in conjunction with the San Francisco Black Firefighters Association for years has provided low income families in the Bay Area. This year the goal is to provide at least 1,000 toys to children from low income families.

This years Toy Drive will also be an ward ceremony for some of Oakland's Finest entertainers, politicians, community leaders. and family members who have made contributions to Oakland.

Dec 1 st will also be a celebration of  the 60th Birthday for Donald Lacy. Mr. Lacy founded the LoveLife  Foundation on November 1, 1997 in honor of his 16 year old daughter LoEshe' Lacy. LoEshe' was murdered on October 20, 1997 an innocent victim to a shooting across the street from MCClymonds high school where she was a student.  On April 5, 2016 the Oakland City Council by a 5-3 vote adopted "Love Life" as the official motto of the city of Oakland in 2017 all Entering Oakland signs now say ;"Love Life" on them to honor all victims of violence and send out a positive message to affirm the gift of life.
